General Information on our Melbourne campuses

Bharathi Academy offers face to face classes as well as online lessons. Face to face classes are available at the following locations: Berwick, Clayton, Dandenong, East Burwood, South Morang. Students can enroll from 3-Year Kinder to VCE. More information on the Campuses is available on the following link: Campus Locations, Contacts & Class Times . On average, there will be 40 classes in an year. Classes are not held during school vacations.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Our campuses run interesting co-curricular activities every week (as elective subjects). Also lending libraries play an important role in learning. The school Calendar is dotted with many exciting events including Annual Drama Festival, Sports Meet, Let’s Play Tamil Day, Family Day and Navarathri/Cultural Festival.

OTHER INFORMATION

1. Attendance & Behaviour: In the interest of all the students, punctuality and regular attendance will be expected. Good and friendly behaviour will be expected from students at all times. Any student with unacceptable behaviour may be asked to leave the course.
2. Students are advised to bring snacks and refreshments as required. Eating inside classrooms at any time is strictly prohibited. For safety reasons, food shall not be shared.

Term Fees

Bharathi Academy is a not for profit community school. Every effort is made to keep the fees to a minimum whilst continuing to provide a high-quality educational program for our students. Bharathi Academy has four academic terms per year. The following table indicates the tuition fees invoiced per term.

*Students enrolling in the mid term will pay pro rata fees.

*A photocopy levy of $20 per year and an annual levy to cover expenses towards various events are also payable. These will be invoiced.

Concessions:

15% reduction on the fee is available if two or more children attend from the same family or both the parents are unemployed (proof must be furnished at the time of every payment.) A student is entitled to only one of these discounts at a time (ie. 15% max.)

Third student from the family will pay half the fee. This will be for the youngest child.

All concessions are offered entirely at the discretion of the school management.

How to make a payment:

Invoice will be sent every term. Payments can be made by EFT, credit card or BPAY. Cash payment can be made at the campus during opening hours.

Term fees are strictly payable by the due date.

Students who wish to discontinue enrolment should notify the School two weeks prior to term completion, in writing.
